iCare have announced 2 significant changes in relation to how workers compensation is being managed
iCare today announced the insurers who will continue to provide workers compensation management on their behalf – they are GIO, Allianz and EML. This means that QBE and CGU will cease managing workers compensation claims from 31 December 2017. Employers currently with these insurers will be transitioned to other one of the remaining insurers over coming months.
This is on top of the announcement by iCare earlier this month that from April 30 2017 employers will be able to take out new policies or renew existing policies directly through iCare’s self-service portal or their customer service centre on 13 22 44.
